“Golden Captains” Program (hereinafter, the “Program”) aims to encourage the recruitment and activation of new users on the El Dorado platform, with a special focus on high-value users —including, but not limited to, migrant communities—, through a system of economic rewards given to people who, as Golden Captains, refer and promote the registration and use of the platform.
Participation in the Program implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The following definitions will help you understand these Terms and Conditions more easily:
• Platform: El Dorado App through which users access services and the Golden Captains Program.
• Captain Dorado: Natural person, of legal age, who has an active and verified account on the Platform and who has been enabled by El Dorado to participate in the Program, in order to attract new users through their Recruitment Code.
• Recruited User: Natural person who registers for the first time on the El Dorado Platform using a valid Recruitment Code issued by a Dorado Captain.
• Acquisition Code: A unique identifier assigned to Captain Dorado, associated with their username, which allows tracking the registration and activity of Acquired Users. The code is available in the User's profile.
• Valid Transaction: Operation effectively completed by the User Acquired within the Platform under the terms defined in section 8 of these Terms and Conditions.
• Reward: Economic benefit granted in USDT to Captain Dorado, once the conditions of the Program have been met, as established in these Terms and Conditions.
• Settlement Period: Calendar month with respect to which the Reward accrued by Captain Dorado is calculated, subject to payment in the immediately following month in accordance with numeral 10.
The Program will operate for indefinite periods. El Dorado may establish specific conditions applicable to the Program, including, but not limited to:
● The Reward Amount.
● The conditions necessary to unlock and settle the Reward.
● The monthly or total limits applicable to the Golden Captain.
● The duration of the Program.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the defined conditions will remain in force and will be fully applicable until El Dorado publishes a new modification, update or version of the Program , whether for a new period or in general.
The applicable terms and conditions will be those in effect at the time the Reward is earned. Any modifications will be communicated promptly through the Platform or via the contact channels registered by Captain Dorado. Captain Dorado acknowledges that it is his sole responsibility to periodically review these updates, and that continued participation in the Program will constitute full and binding acceptance of the new terms and conditions.
The Golden Captains Program is promotional and voluntary. Participation does not constitute an acquired right, nor does it imply the existence of an employment, commercial, agency, mandate, partnership, representation, or any other relationship other than that agreed upon herein between the Golden Captain and El Dorado.
Captain Dorado acts on his own behalf, exclusively assumes the costs, taxes, contributions, withholdings and other tax obligations that may arise from the Reward received, and releases El Dorado from any liability in this regard.
The availability of the Program, as well as the awarding and settlement of the Reward, will be subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
Those who meet the following requirements concurrently may participate in the Golden Captains Program:
● Be a natural person of legal age.
● Have an active and duly verified (KYC) account on the Platform, enabled to operate at verification level L1 or any of the subsequent levels, in accordance with the provisions of Annex B of the Platform's Terms and Conditions.
● Comply with the operating and usage conditions established by El Dorado.
● Not to be subject to any restrictions, blocks, sanctions or investigations for non-compliance with the terms and conditions of the Platform or applicable regulations.
El Dorado reserves the right to approve, reject or revoke at its discretion the status of Captain Dorado, without this generating any right to compensation.
The Acquisition Code corresponds to the referral code that the User has when entering the Profile section within the Platform.
The Recruitment Code may be freely shared by Captain Dorado under the conditions of this Program, without implying the existence of an employment, commercial, agency or representation relationship with El Dorado.
The Acquired User may enter the Acquisition Code at any of the following times:
● During the registration process, in the onboarding stage, after the verification of the telephone number and the entry of the first and last name.
Captain Dorado may receive the Reward in accordance with the following provisions:
For each Referred User who registers on the Platform using the valid Referred Code, completes the KYC verification process up to level L1, and makes at least one Valid Transaction within the Platform, Captain Dorado will earn a Reward of 6 USDT for that Referred User
This Reward is earned only once for each User Acquired, upon verification of their first Valid Transaction, and is not accumulated for subsequent transactions of the same user, unless El Dorado provides otherwise for a specific period.
a Valid Transaction will be considered any operation effectively completed and settled by the Acquired User within the Platform, including, but not limited to:
● Shipments or transfers between the corridors enabled by El Dorado (including, but not limited to, the Brazil–Bolivia corridors in both directions).
● P2P operations or via Express.
● Payments with Visa prepaid card.
● Payments with QR code.
● Sending or receiving funds via ACH or Wire to USD accounts.
Cancelled, failed, reversed, or in-process transactions will not be considered valid for the purposes of the Program.
El Dorado reserves the right to define, adjust or restrict the types of eligible transactions, as well as to require a minimum amount per transaction, communicating this through the Platform.
The Reward Amount is configurable and may be modified in accordance with the provisions of section 3 of these Terms and Conditions.
The Reward will be accrued and paid monthly, according to the following rules:
• Calculation period: the Reward earned by Captain Dorado will be counted between the first (1st) and the last calendar day of each month.
• Payment Date: El Dorado will make the payment of the earned Reward within the first five (5) calendar days of the month immediately following the Settlement Period.
• Payment method: The Reward will be credited to Captain Dorado's account within the El Dorado Platform, in USD or its equivalent in USDT, at El Dorado's discretion.
• Payment conditions: For the settlement to proceed, Captain Dorado must maintain his account active, verified and unrestricted at the time of payment, and have complied at all times with these Terms and Conditions.
When the fifth (5th) calendar day coincides with a non-working day, the payment may be made on the next working day without giving rise to any right to claim.
El Dorado may withhold, in whole or in part, the payment of the Reward corresponding to a Settlement Period when there are indications of fraud, abuse, non-compliance or when internal reviews or information requests are underway, until the situation is resolved.
El Dorado may establish maximum Rewards limits, either per Golden Captain, per User Recruited, per Liquidation Period, or globally for the Program.
Once the applicable limit has been reached, El Dorado may temporarily suspend the allocation of new Rewards until the start of the next period, without this generating any right to claim.
Captain Dorado promises to:
• Promote the Platform in an ethical, truthful and respectful manner, without making false, misleading or deceptive statements that may mislead potential Users.
• Refrain from promising returns, benefits or services other than those actually offered by the Platform.
• Do not use the El Dorado brand, logos, materials or name without prior written authorization, except for those materials officially made available by El Dorado for the purposes of the Program.
• Do not engage in spam practices, mass sending of unsolicited communications, or any conduct contrary to consumer protection laws, personal data and electronic communications.
• Do not engage in self-solicitation, creation of fake accounts, impersonation, system manipulation, use of bots or any other fraudulent or abusive conduct.
• Comply with applicable legislation in your jurisdiction, including tax obligations, prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, and protection of personal data.
Failure to comply with any of these obligations may result in suspension, exclusion from the Program, revocation of earned Rewards and/or the corresponding legal actions.
El Dorado reserves the right to:
• Suspend, cancel or revoke Rewards when it identifies, detects objective indications or has reasonable grounds to consider, the existence of fraudulent, abusive or bad faith activities, including but not limited to: self-recruitment, creation of fake accounts, impersonation, use of third-party information without authorization, or manipulation of the system.
• To exclude from the Program, temporarily or permanently, Golden Captains who violate these Terms or any applicable internal policy.
• Request additional information or documentation from Captain Dorado to verify the legitimacy of the recruitments carried out. Refusal or unjustified delay in providing such information may result in the suspension of the Reward payment.
• Request the reimbursement of unduly received Rewards, without prejudice to any corresponding legal actions.
The Reward awarded under the Program is personal and non-transferable. It may not be assigned, sold, exchanged, or transferred, in whole or in part, to third parties under any circumstances.
Any attempt to transfer or misuse the Reward may result in its revocation and, if applicable, the exclusion of Captain Dorado from the Program.
The processing of personal data of the Golden Captains and the Recruited Users will be governed by El Dorado's Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy, available on the Platform.
Captain Dorado undertakes not to collect, store, transfer or process personal data of the Users Captured for purposes other than those of the Program, and to refrain from using them for commercial purposes of its own or of third parties.
These Terms and Conditions of the Golden Captains Program shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of Panama.
When a dispute arises between Captain Dorado and El Dorado in relation to this Program, it will be subject to the procedure established in the Platform's general conditions.
Captain Dorado may submit requests, complaints, claims, disputes or suggestions related to the Program through the customer service channels enabled by El Dorado.
Applications must be submitted clearly and with the necessary information to allow for proper review. Should additional information be required, El Dorado will promptly notify Captain Dorado.
El Dorado will review each request in good faith and provide a response within fifteen (15) business days of receiving it.
The submission of a complaint or claim does not suspend the application of these Terms and Conditions or the general conditions of the Platform.
Captain Dorado's participation in this Program implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Platform's general Terms and Conditions, which can be consulted through the following link: https://eldorado.io/legal/terms-and-conditions/

El Dorado reserves the right to make adjustments or modifications to this Program, or to suspend it temporarily or permanently, should operational, commercial, or regulatory circumstances warrant it. In such situations, participants will be promptly informed through the Platform or their registered contact channels.
The Reward accrued prior to the effective date of modification or cancellation, and which is duly accredited in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, will be paid in accordance with the rules in force at the time of its accrual.
