What is the Merchant Level in El Dorado?
El Merchant Level is an automatic rating based on your performance within the app during Last 30 days.
Based on your results, we'll assign you one of these levels:
- 🏅 Gold Level
- 🥈 Silver Level
- 🥉 Bronze Level
⚠️ Note: This level system is different from the rating you receive after each individual transaction.
What metrics affect your Merchant Level?
To calculate your level, we analyze four key metrics:
- ⏱ Order Completion Time
- ⭐ User Rating
- ✅ Percentage of completed orders
- 📈 Number of completed orders (historical fact)
Each metric has a specific weight, and performs well in all of them Improve your final score.
⚠️ Note: The number of completed orders is calculated from your total history, not just the last 30 days.
How is your Merchant Level calculated?
Let's say your metrics are:
- ⏱ Completion time: 4 minutes
- ⭐ User Rating: 4.8 stars
- ✅ Percentage of completed orders: 90%
- 📈 Number of completed orders: 650 orders
Step 1: We normalize your metrics
We apply this formula for each metric (adjust each number using the reference values):
- Example with reputation:
(4.8 - 3)/(5-3) = 0.9
Step 2: We calculate the average (X)
We averaged your four normalized metrics.
X = (0.888+0.9+0.75+1.0) ÷ 4
X = 3.54 ÷ 4
X ≈ 0.89
Step 3: We identify your lowest metric
In the example: 0.75 (percentage of completed orders).
Step 4: We Calculate Your Score
We took the average between your overall average and the lowest metric:
Score = (0.89+0.75) ÷ 2
Score ≈ 0.82
Step 5: Multiply by 100 to get the Final Score
Final Score = Score x 100
Final Score = 0.82 x 100
