Terms and Conditions

Change

1. Acceptance of Terms

Utilizing the Change feature signifies that the user (hereinafter referred to as "the Market Taker" or "MT") accepts these Terms and Conditions. You should refrain from using the service if you do not accept them.

2. Description of the Service

Change is a feature that enables Market Takers to automatically connect with the best available offer for P2P trading based on the parameters entered. This includes, but is not limited to, the selected currency, amount, and payment method. El Dorado conducts a search based on the parameters provided by the MT and the offer available at that time; however, the service should be regarded as a recommendation, and it should not be interpreted that El Dorado is responsible for it. Ultimately, it is entirely up to the MT to decide whether to accept the recommendation or not.

The price shown in the application is a reference price and may vary at the time of initiating the order because the price displayed is taken from the average of the payment methods. It is the user's responsibility to verify the price of the order.

3. Eligibility

The service will be accessible via the platform's navigation bar using the "change" button. Users can choose to access the service through that button or make a change by viewing the complete list of available offers in the P2P button.

4. Geographic Limitations

The Change function is available only in the following countries: Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, and Venezuela. In Bolivia and Panama, the current interface will remain unchanged, allowing users to manually access the list of offers.

5. Selection of Offers

The system will automatically select the 10 best offers from a group of offerers, which will have scores defined based on their performance:

  • Gold Level (0.80 - 1.0): Good performance.
  • Silver Level (0.60 - 0.80): Acceptable performance
  • Bronze Level (from 0.60 down) → Poor performance.

For more information about the qualifications, you can review the information here

6. Payment Methods

The availability of payment methods for the Exchange function will be subject to having a minimum of 50 bidders on the platform for the specific method. Methods that do not meet this requirement will not be available in Exchange.

7. Order Opening and Closing Process

The MT will initiate the exchange process by selecting its parameters, and the system will send requests to the bidders. If a bidder accepts the request, the order will be opened. If there are no bidders available, the system will provide alternatives for the MT to adjust its search. If the MT does not want to accept any of the offered alternatives, it can access the complete list of offers and decide whether to continue with the exchange.

8. Cancellations

The Exchange function aims to reduce cancellations so that when the MT connects with the bidder the exchange is made more directly, however, El Dorado will not be responsible in case the Offeror cancels the order. It will be up to the latter to proceed with the order to which the MT is directed.

9. User Responsibilities

The MT is responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of the information entered into the system. The platform is not responsible for errors in the exchange resulting from incorrect information provided by the user.

10. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Modifications will be published in this section, and continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Reference to general terms and conditions

Any matter not regulated in these terms and conditions will follow the provisions of the general terms and conditions of use of the application.

12. Contact

For any questions or clarifications regarding these Terms and Conditions, the user may contact us through the support channels available on the platform.
